August 30 Congregational Meeting ​

Hosanna! Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold a congregational meeting on Sunday, August 30 at 10:40am to discuss property matters.​​​​​
Voting members who cannot join us in person may attend the meeting, contribute to the conversation, and vote via Google Meet. Click the button below to join the meeting or use the Meeting ID xmg-cyzq-oye. Our constitution does not allow for anyone who does not attend the meeting in real time to vote or voting by proxy.
Background​​​
Two years ago, our congregation voted unanimously to authorize our council to sell up to 3.25 acres of our undeveloped land. The resulting process of unifying all our land in the City of Liberty took longer than expected, so our original authorization expires September 15. Our Council is therefore seeking reauthorization to sell or encumber this land should negotiations continue to be favorable and conditions be feasible, or to withdraw from the process if they are not. 2026 Annual Congregational Meeting ​

Hosanna Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold its annual congregational meeting on Sunday, February 1 at 10:40am.
​​​
We gather to review our ministry of the past year and discuss where God is leading us in the coming year. Rather than top-down decision-making, confirmed, contributing, and Communing members of Hosanna! work together to determine the path of our shared ministry. In addition to discussing ministry, we vote on resolutions and a budget, and elect leaders to carry out our vision. Our annual report is available for PDF download below.​

Proposed Constitution Updates

It is recommended that congregations incorporate the required changes to the ELCA Model Constitution for Congregations as soon as possible after each churchwide assembly (every 3 years, last in 2025).
