Advent Devotions

As we prepare to receive God again this Christmas, spend a few minutes each day making room in your heart by reading scripture, reflecting, and praying.

We are blessed to be able to share these devotions written by Lutherans in eastern Missouri and at one of the ELCA seminaries.  Printed copies of "Chesed: Love that Endures" are available in the fellowship hall or you can download PDF versions below to read on your phone or tablet.

This devotional is written by Lutheran leaders in Eastern Missouri. It invites us to think about God's promises and God's chesed (a Hebrew word for lovingkindness, mercy, steadfast love, loyalty, and faithfulness).
