HOSANNA! is excited to present a FREE 3-day VBS from 5:00-8:00pm on July 8-10.

We will start each night with dinner at 5:00pm and an opening assembly. Then, kids will embark on their Road Trip until we wrap up at 8:00pm.

Activities will include:

Games and Experiments
Arts and Crafts
Bible Lessons and Stories
Music and Dancing
Fun with Friends
Kids Grouped by Age
Relationships with Youth and Adult Volunteers

Celebration:

We will wrap up our VBS with our worship service on Sunday, July 12 at 9:30, when we will share with the congregation some camp songs and what we learned.

Register your campers (ages 5-12) today! Please think about bringing your grandkids, nieces and nephews, neighbors, and anyone looking for a great time this summer! (Adult study participants do not need to register.)

Join the ADULT study at the same times!

Adults are invited to supper each evening July 8-10 at 5:00, then conversation about “Travelling with God: Being a Serendipitous Christian.”

Each evening will include:

Bible Study - Unexpected good fortune through old stories
Understanding Worship - Unexpected good fortune through old habits
Reflecting on Everyday Life - Unexpected good fortune within the same old same old

The topics will match the stories the kids are simultaneously learning:

July 8: Abraham and Sarah—planning is nice, but flexibility and a sense of humor are essential.
July 9: Zacchaeus—staycations are good but best with a party.
July 10: Paul—the direct route is not always the best route.

Although connected, each conversation topic is complete on its own, so participants are welcome any evening, even if they can’t attend all three or they are volunteering to help the young people some evenings.

So that we know how many adults to expect for dinner, please let us know that you plan to attend using this form.

Want to Contribute Leadership, Time, and Resources?

We need adult volunteers for the following lead positions: Science, Recreation, Music, Dinner, Crafts, and Lessons. All lead positions have a script to follow, and readings/projects/activities will be provided to you. We will also need a teen volunteer for each youth section to be our Camp Counselors to help stay energized and to lead them to their sessions. Many hands make light work, and we'll need all your hands! If you are interested in volunteering or learning more about VBS, please contact Chris Marple at VBS@hosannalutheranchurch.org.
