Feeling blue?  There's hope.

During this season, there's pressure to feel happy and bright, changes in our lives that make this year feel different than the past, and just a whole lot going on.  It's natural to have mixed emotions.  Visit our Feelings page to get connected with resources for dealing with these feelings throughout the year and especially during the holidays.

If you're struggling right now and would like to talk to someone to name your specific feelings and sort through them, Pastor Mike is available to meet with you in person, online, or by phone.  Call the church office (816-781-7991) or e-mail Pastor Mike anytime at pastormike@hosannalutheranchurch.org to find a time to talk.

Join us Christmas Eve:

Come home this Christmas.  There is a place for you.

9:30 AM Advent Journey - Ever wonder what was on the hearts and in the minds of the people involved in the Christmas story?  We’ll hear about the people and experiences that led to Christmas, culminating with Christ in the manger.  We’ll move together from reflective longing to hopeful expectation, and then to joyful praise for God’s promise fulfilled.  This service will be different than a typical Sunday morning and brighter than the evening service, blending the hope of Advent with the joy of Christmas.

6:00 PM Holy Night, Holy Light - Experience the wonder and joy of Christ’s coming into our lives in this “traditional” Christmas Eve worship service filled with music, meditation, and candles.  What difference does a baby in a manger make for us today?  We’ll hear about how God comes to the lowly, culminating with God’s continued activity in our own lives.  This service will also be available online.
